Pictorial

So many things to show you.  We have converted one of the barn stalls into a chicken coop with an outside run.  The chickens seem to think they've entered some type of paradise.  They love the space inside and the ability to go out at their leisure.  I'll share some of those pictures soon.

We also took a must needed break and went to visit family.  While there we were able to visit Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania.  I would highly recommend a visit.  It is such a beautiful place.  You can spend a couple of hours and come away refreshed and inspired.  It's the kind of place that's good for the soul.  We have tons of pictures from there to share.  It's a matter of whittling down the choices.

So for today, I'll share a few pictures from around here that Ry has taken.  He loves to learn new things.  At the moment, he is immersed in the world of photography.  All of these photos he's either taken with his phone or my little camera.  We have no fancy telephoto lenses or expensive camera.  I think he's done an excellent job.

Our new additions...chicks and ducks!

These ladies love their new pen

I love this picture.  Henry looks large and in charge.  Poor fella is actually a henpecked scaredy cat.

Their favorite spot.  They all seemed to miss each other while we were away.

Another in the field

And last of all, the grain bin

It's a beautiful spring morning.  I'm off to plant more corn.  And some beans.  And some watermelon.  And...
